Permanent Staff
Donald G. Reed Jr., CPA
Don has over 40 years of experience in taxes and accounting, specializing in LLC’s, S-Corporations, and complex tax issues. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a B.S. in Accounting, summa cum laude, where he was elected to be a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
Don also has extensive experience in sales and marketing, consulting for business, and English composition. He resides in Sharon and Tionesta, PA. His hobbies include golf, outdoor life, and being a good Papa to his six grandchildren.
Matthew Dailey, CPA
Matt has been a lifelong resident of Mercer County. He was raised in Grove City and has lived there all his life. He obtained an accounting degree from Grove City College. After graduation he attended Youngstown State University where he obtained his MBA. After graduating from YSU he was employed by Reed & Reed Associates, Inc. in the spring of 1991 as a staff accountant. It was over the following years that Matt learned his profession and became a key member of the firm.
Matt became a partner with the two Reeds in the firm in 2002. Matt has since that time added his investment registrations through Cetera Financial Specialists LLC and life insurance license in both PA and OH. Matt can help answer any investment questions you may have. Matt spends his hours at the office seeing clients and helping existing as well as new clients navigate the tax law, working towards reducing tax obligations all while being compliant with tax rules and regulations.
Donald G. Reed, Sr.
Donald G. Reed, Sr. is the founder of Reed & Dailey Associates, Inc. Don started his accounting and income tax service in the year 1956 and was located on East State Street in Hermitage, PA. He later moved the firm to his home on Morefield Road, then bought the house and land where Staples is today in Hermitage, PA. The practice kept growing so the firm moved again to a business office on South Buhl Farm Drive across from Kennedy Catholic High School.
Don also founded Crossing Paths Ministry. It is a local non-profit Christian organization whose goal is to proclaim the love and salvation found in Jesus Christ. The Crossing Paths TV program can be seen on Cornerstone TV - nationwide, CTN-Southwest, Florida, and over 200 cable companies. Don has helped many people with gambling and alcohol problems. A documentary movie was produced about his life called, “The Don Reed Story, A Man on the Edge of Eternity” and it’s available on DVD.
Kathy Murphy
Kathy has 30+ years of management experience. Prior to moving to Ohio, she was the Office Manager for V.I.P. Ambulance, Inc. and the Terminal Manager for Pioneer Transport in Baltimore, Maryland. Before joining the year-round permanent staff in 2022 as the General Manager, she served as the Financial Director at a local church.
Jill Seidel
Jill Seidel has been meeting the accounting needs of business and individuals at Reed & Dailey Associates, Inc. for over 20 years. She specializes in small business accounting, tax preparation, and payroll processing. After graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Jill got her start in the accounting industry in Washington, DC. There, she worked for national public relations and corporate travel companies before moving over to public accounting.
Beth Luther
Beth joined Reed & Dailey Associates, Inc. as a seasonal employee in 2007, still allowing her time to focus on raising her two young children. Beth graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in accounting. She started full time with the firm in July of 2018 focusing on quarterly payroll returns and payroll processing.
Angela Weser
Angela has a degree in Pastoral Studies and has worked alongside her husband in ministry for over 32 years. She will happily welcome you at the Front Desk, and whether you’re a long-time client - or brand new- she looks forward to getting to know each of you.

Jamie Dailey - Collator
Jamie has filled many positions in her 25+ years at Reed & Dailey. She is currently working in the Collating Department
Michelle Parker - Collator
Michelle has been working at Reed & Dailey behind the scenes as a Collator for over 20 years.
Melody Perdian - Front Desk
Melody has been greeting clients at the Front Desk with her smile and enthusiastic assistance for over 10 years.
Bill Krochka - Tax Preparer
Bill has been employed at Reed & Dailey for several years. He has many years of experience as an excellent tax preparer.
Serenity Dailey - Collator/Front Desk
Serenity joined the team in 2022. She spends most of her days in the Collating Department, but she also helps at the Front Desk.
Sue Jackson - Front Desk
Sue started with Reed & Dailey in 2022. She is one of the first friendly people that you will encounter as you enter the doors.
Tim Murphy - IT
Tim has served in numerous capacities since he started working at Reed & Dailey. He is the “go to” for all things tech at the office.
